Acknowledgement: The following photos are from Mr. Cheol-Kyun Shin's website, Cyber Gallery. The photos here do not do justice to his site's presentation of his photos. They are simply fantastic. They depict the daily lives of people in the Cholla area over a period of thirty years. The power of these black-and-white photos graphically depicts the daily lives as the country grew from a poor country to one of the four dragons of Asia. Mr. Shin is an internationally recognized, award-winning photographer who resides in the Kunsan area.
