KOREA NATIONAL TOURISM ORGANIZATON: The Korea National Tourism Organization Photo Gallery is filled with terrific amateur photos of Korea from their national photo contest. Unfortunately, the long load times makes viewing a little tedious. However, the photos provide a fantastic cross-section of life in Korea. Photographs by Koreans and Foreigners.

The following photos are from Mr. Cheol-Kyun Shin's website, Cyber Gallery. The photos here do not do justice to his site's presentation of his photos. They are simply fantastic. They depict the daily lives of people in the Cholla area over a period of thirty years. The power of these black-and-white photos graphically depicts the daily lives as the country grew from a poor country to one of the four dragons of Asia. Mr. Shin is an internationally recognized, award-winning photographer who resides in the Kunsan area.
